this hotel its terrible! i arrived at 1am in the morning there the receptionist cant speak english.my bf book this hotel because near in metro.im waiting 45 minutes to get my room.the room its really dirty! and the bathroom also! and the bed its very very hard. i woke uo in the next day had really back pain. i went to receptionist to complain about the bed this one can speak english a bit but i was so disappointed shes so rude. after i complain about the bed she told me to check other room she just gave me the key without escorting me. i went upstair and the key she gave me not working. i go back to her and inform her not working. her face was so irritated on me! finally she give me other key i go back my self there again when i open the room its still not clean. and the bed its still really hard. i went back here and tell her to look other room on me. she's still mad and tell me in irritated voice that all room are the same! i pay 158 per night there. i was not really happy since that i want stay longer. i look around for hotel i found motel 168. its very close in super 8 its beside the traffic light. they have discounted room 166 per night just buy the vip card for 99rmb. and its really nice and big room.wifi its working. room its clean. for all don't stay in super 8 hotel its nightmare to stay in there!..
This is the third time I've stayed in this hotel. It is very basic but perfectly functional and very good value. The rooms are not particularly pretty and the bathrooms are a tad grubby (not filthy or unacceptable) but the location is excellent. A two minute walk to the Metro and only two stops (around five minutes) to the centre of Shanghai. For 150rmb a night you cannot expect a palace. It's cheap with comfortable beds. The internet is slow and the TV offers nothing for foreign travellers but as a base for exploring the city and a cheap place to sleep it does the job. On my last stay I was very disappointed as the A/C didn't work and the shower was cold. I mentioned this as I checked out and the reception were aware of the issues with the room and offered a feeble apology but didn't seem particulary bothered. (Room 404 - don't accept it if you are allocated this room. I've previously stayed in 219 and 405 and they were both problem free) It depends entirely on what you need from a hotel. If you just need a bed in a good location for a very cheap price then this place is great. If you want somewhere pretty, spotlessly clean with good facilities then don't stay here. You get what you pay for. For the price this place is superb. I'm hoping my bad experience last visit was a one off. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and I'll stay here again the next time I come to Shanghai...
is not a good hotel because: -is alittle dirty inside its bathroom and the shower is not good. -materiels is bad like TV and the electric kettle. -there is some mouse in room i think room number is 235. -the reception it was good. -I change the room 235 to room R305 because i heard all night the voice of mouse . - some insect. Im sorry it is a reality Idont like it and I will never go there...
THis is quite good hotel. THe main problem for foreign guests is that only one hotel officer at reception speaks english. Proses: 1. it really value for money. Rooms are very goods for this price. 2. Some rooms are duplex! 3. Those rooms that are little bit expensive has computer with Internet connection! 4. It is quite close to the city center (about 30 RMB by taxi) and very close to the metro station Conses: 1. Do not use massage services in the hotel, it is done quite bad (it seems to me it is done by girls rendering mainly "other" services for mens). Recommendation: Goods and cheap hotel to stay in shanghai. You won't regret...
