We spent with my wife in hotel 3nights,
Location:
Location is really good it is very close to the Bell and Drum Tower (300m) and also very close to City walls (300M). Very close is several fast foods (McDonald&KFC) so as a last chance for dinner it is really good . You cannot expect great view because hotel is in the middle of centre (old town) and has only 6floors. (if I remember correctly)
Room:
Room was clean with a service and cleaning every day.
Staff:
As a foreigners and not local travelers we had a trouble with a communication, personal was not able to communicate in English. Fortunately we are living in Chine more than one year so my poor Chinese + their poor English + body language was only one way how to communicate . Inside of lobby is very nice coffee shop and my felling was that staff there had better English than staff in hotel.
Breakfast:
As westerns travelers you have to forget on western style, only western during the breakfast was toast bread, butter and jam , but as I mentioned KFC is very close so as a last option it is OK.
Conclusion:
Hotel was nice, clean and for reasonable price, based on my feeling hotel is more orientated on Chinese clients and not westerns. If you are not picky client with a patient for communication and want some adventure you should be OK with this hotel.
