Thankyou SO much for an excellent trip to the Great Wall - there were no buses to catch or tardy tourists to wait for, no tickets to buy or cue for it was simply the VIP treatment, picked up promptly at our hotel, transported with our excellent, fluent English speaking guide in a very comfortable car on a relaxing drive to the wall site, with all the facts and history about the wall we wished to know. Once there we were escorted through all the checkpoints and gates with our guide to the cable car lift (all tickets pre paid) then on to the Majestic and utterly impressive wall itself, since we travelled on our own we weren’t accompanied by a bus load of guests and got some fantastic shots of an almost empty wall! After some time we headed back to to enjoy a buffet lunch (again pre organized and paid for) before heading back in Beijing where an impromptu request got us to see the exterior of the forbidden kingdom, temple of heaven and Tiananmen Square!
