There were 6 of us on this trip. We got picked up at our Hotel at the agreed time and the mini van was very comfortable. No shopping tour turned into a stop at the local Jade factory before going to the Wall, one of us bought a small necklace and it gave us an appreciation of the time spent on each piece. Some pieces taking 5 years to make. The meal at the restaurant before going up the wall was very nice. The wall was great, hard work climbing some of the stairs but worth the view. Took the Chair lift up and toboggan ride down which was a high light. Tour guide was very informative with her English easy to understand. We paid cash on the day option but not sure whether card option would be cheaper. Private tour for 6 cost $3100 Yuan.
