Morning
Pick up from the train station or the hotel in downtown Suzhou, take a boat from a small wharf outside Changmen Gate of Suzhou.
The boat will lead you through the Shantang Canal while browsing the scene of Shantang Street.
After this waterway, we shall finally arrive a real terminal: Tiger Hill--the first grand scene of Wu cultural region.
Then you will run out of your morning time in Tiger Hill.

We strongly recommend enjoying lunch at Songhelou restaurant ( you need charge the lunch yourself ).
Songhelou is the oldest Suzhou restaurant with the longest history (from 1757) and reputation in China.
Songhelou has also won the titles of “Golden Tripod Award”, “Chinese Famous Snack” and “National Premium Restaurant” awarded by the Ministry of Commerce.
It was the cradle of the chefs of Suzhou traditional gastronomies, Songhelou represents Suzhou cuisine in a certain sense.
Afternoon
After lunch , you will be chauffered to Suzhou Museum.
The new building of Suzhou Museum was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Chinese-American architect I.M. Pei. The structural engineer for this project was Leslie E. Robertson Associates. The architects mixed the essence of Jiangnan folk house' style with modern art to make the building looks like also a artwork.
After visiting, you will walk to a Site of World Cultural Heritage, browse one of Suzhou traditional garden, Lion Grove Garden or Humble Administrator's Garden, just nearby Suzhou museum,
Our itinerary will finish around 5:00pm, Then drop you off to your hotel or Suzhou railway station to end the trip.

Deep-fried mandarin fish is topped with sweet and sour sauce and sprinkled with crushed nuts. It's called "song shu Gui yu" in chinese , a all china famous dish original from Suzhou.
