Review of 5 Day (4 Night) Beijing Private Tour Package by Ramiro

I booked a 5 days (4 night) tour in Beijing. For being my first time in Beijing and alone, it was ok and pretty comfortable because we were travelling by car, and I wasn't part of a group. It was like a personalized tour. Tour guide was at the airport waiting for me when I arrived, and they took me to the airport when I left Beijing. However, I don't think I will do it again to be honest. The tour guide Lee and the driver were always polite with me, I can't complain. Lee was there always available to take pictures, and he told me the most important aspects of each of the places we visited. The places we visited are a must while being in Beijing, including the Great Wall. Although, if you are young and you are not travelling alone, you can go to all the places on your own without the need of a tour or a guide. Except for the Great Wall, I really recommed to book a tour because the Great Wall is far from the city and it takes at least half day to get there and climb the Wall. The things that I didn't like are the following: the restaurants that were chosen were terrible, except for the Pekin Duck restaurant. The rest were so bad, I had to eat there because I was hungry and I already paid for it, but the places were terrible. Dark places, bad food quality. Also, they took me to these expensive stores exclusively for tourists where they try to sell silk, jade, jewerly, pearls, etc. The prices there are 4 or 5 times more expensive than the real price. You can get the same things in Sanlitun or Wanfujing for a very cheap price. Also going to these stores was a lost of time. Overall, it was a good experience because of all the commodities, but next time I will do it on my own. Thanks
