hi, this was my first itme in China and flying internally was a little daunting. Turned out to be relatively easy. The Beijing domestic terminal is very organised given the volume of air traffic it caters for. Air China were acceptional and would have no issue choosing to fly with them again. The only thing you need to be aware of is, when and if, you return to Beijing, you'll get off the plane and follow the directions to the luggage collection and descend down a couple of escalators. Here you'll stop and suffer a bout of confusion. You can relax, you have to get on a subway train that takes you to the part of the airport with the luggage carrosels.
