Just say "BU" (NO!) to the Airport Garden Hotel. We stayed here for a short 4-hour lay-over between the train from Shanghai and our air departure from Beijing, thank goodness it was not overnight. Other reviews note the shuttle bus which was in fact good from the airport TO the hotel; however the return back to the airport was poor with the driver just dumping us out - no help with the luggage, etc. As everyone else has noted, the carpets are filthy, the a.c. is weak at best, and the room dingy. The best part was the lunch menu with amusing "Chinglish" translations of the food items. Travel desks at the Beijing Airport represented other close-to-the-airport hotels, which even for a few dollars more would have been a more pleasant experience.
