We stayed at this hotel only because it seemed liked the best of the rest, it had a free shuttle to the airport & the reviews were generally positive.
We booked a suite & got suite 9XX. Walking down the hall it looked pretty bleak. A good coat of paint would go a long way. It was a two floor suite, the bedroom was a loft upstairs.
There was no working air conditioner and the room temp was in the upper 70s F. We opened the window to ventilate the room & wound up with a room full of smog. The bed had not been changed from the previous guest...now that's just plain unacceptable.
The pool looked very good except it didn't have any water in it. I'm at a loss as to why this might be considered a resort. The Japanese restaraunt was very good & the draught beer was very cold at the bar.
Bottom line: without having stayed at any other airport property, this may or may not be what you need. But I would much rather stay at the Marriott West & leave 90 minutes earlier than stay here again.
