The Jade Palace was a excellent value for $75 per night. Good lobby staff, nice room, nice facilites. Not well known by taxi drivers, need to print the hotel web site page with the hotel name and address in Chinese characters. Location is convenient to the university area and the Summer Palace, but a 20-30 minute ride to downtown.
