The hotel was in a good position about 15 minutes walk along a fairly busy road to the Bund, where you can walk along the prom and look at the amazing skyscrapers and old colonial buildings lit up at night.
Hotel was clean and I stayed in one of the deluxe kingsize rooms with view of the river (O.K. at night but a grey scene during the day)
Good sized room and bathroom.
Hotel staff very helpful with writing down chinese instructions for taxi drivers etc.
I think there may be building work here soon though as the walk from hotel to centre of town is one massive empty plot that is probably going to be built on soon.
Breakfast not catering for any western tastes, couldn't get coffee, tea, or even orange juice. I normaly like Chinese food, but couldn't find anything I liked at breakfast buffet.
I would be happy to use this hotel again, but would make own arrangement for B'fst if not improved.
