Review of Shanghai New Asia Hotel by Gabriela

We were sleeping for 3 nights in this hotel, we slept in room 749 and it was a clean room, with space it was not big but we had enough space to put our bags, the bed was unconfortable, we didn´t have a mattress it didnt felt like it cause we couldn´t sleep as well as our backs heart the next day, so we weren´t very happy about this, the people in the front desk were helpful but they didn´t speak a very good english, also the neighborhood was not very pretty, I have to admitt that it´s close to the bund but at night it´s scary, we tried to ask to the ladies in the front desk if it was safe for us to walk at night thru this neighbor but they didn´t understand. Also when we checked out we were in a hurry cause we had to go to the airport early in the morning, they took a long time to search in our room to see if we haven´t took something, so my husband complained with the gentleman in the front desk that was checking us out but he didn´t know what we were talking about and a lady surprise us cause she start to race her voice to us and she was rude and unhelpful.
