Tour Description and Itinerary or  Private tour, Starts from Beijing. Day 1 Beijing Arrival
You will be met upon arrival and then you can pend the rest of the day exploring the nearby shopping streets or have a rest in your hotel. Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D) After breakfast , you will visit the Tian'anmen Square- the world's largest public square, and the closely linked Forbidden City, from which the Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties governed for over 500 years. After lunch, we will drop in a local pearl or silk store to learn some knowledge of them, and then forward to visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors prayed for good harvests and rain, or gave thanks for the harvest. Visit scenic spots: 1. the hall of prayer for good harvest, 2. red stairway bridge, 3. the imperial vault of heaven, 4. echo wall, 5. triple sound stone, 6. the circular mound altar, etc. Enjoy a wonderful Chinese acrobat show (or Chinese KongFu show) performance the evening. Day 3 Beijing ( B, L, D) Head for the Great Wall, which stretches for over 6000 km, and was originally built to protect China from the barbarians. You can walk and climb on your own pace or enjoy spectacular views from the cable car (optional: 60RMB p.p). Before drive to visit the Ming tombs, we will drop to have lunch and visit local biggest jade market. In the evening, you will enjoy the best Peking Duck dinner in the most famous Quanjude Restaurant in Beijing. - Ming Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty.
Visit scenic spots: 1.ling en gate, 2.ling en palace, 3.soul tower, 4.the great red gate, 5.the stele pavilion, etc. Day 4 Beijing -> Xi'an (B, L) Visit the Summer Palace. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Xian city where your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel . - Summer Palace: The largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years.
Visit scenic spots: 1. East palace gate, 2. the hall of benevolence and longevity, 3. hall of jade billows, 4. the hall of joyful longevity, 5. the covered walkway, 6. the marble boat, etc. Day 5 Xi'an (B, L) Visit some marvelous historical sites in and around this ancient city, which was the national capital for over 1,000 years. You will visit the Bell Tower, Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Then visit the incredible Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses.This evening you will enjoy the colorful Tang Dynasty Show at ShannXi Theatre or Sunshine Lido Restaurant. - Bell Tower: The emblem of Xian city. - Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India. : The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb. Day 6 Xi'an -> Chongqing (B, L) Spend the morning visiting the Ancient City Wall and Provincial Museum in Xi'an. After a lunch at a local restaurant you will fly toChongqing. An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survives through Chinese long history. Upon arrival, be met at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport and transferred to the pier to board your luxury Yangtze River cruise ship (4 star, Yangtze River, Serenity Crusier , Three Kindom Cruiser, Galaxy I Cruiser or CH.Victoria Cruiser). Day 7 Yangtze River (B, L, D) This morning you will disembark at Shibaozhai after the first period of cruise, this is a 12 storey wooden pagoda which rests against the rock wall of mountain, where you can also climb up the spiral staircase to the top for a panoramic view of the winding river, the village and the countryside. In the late afternoon, you have the option of visiting the temples of White Emperor City (Baidi City). Day 8 Yangtze River (B, L, D) In this day, cruiser come to the western Wu Shan (Witch Mountains), you will enter the world-famous Three Gorges, and enjoy a 4-hour "soft adventure" to the 60 km tributary, Shennong Stream. In the middle of the cruise, when the cruiser stop, you will travel in a smaller boat up the newly created waterways between well-wooded hills and sheer cliffs you can enjoy spectacular scenery, and see a clearly visible hanging coffin. Later, you will be transferred to an armada of "peapod" boats (small open sampans) manned by a team of rowers. As the stream becomes shallower they will tow the boat by rope to the top of small rapids. After that, return back to your big main cruiser, continue cruising. Day 9 Yichang -> Shanghai (B, L) After an early breakfast, the shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site. After a farewell lunch on board ,our local guide will meet you and escort you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. You will be met at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is on your own, to explore it, with its phenomenal mixture of space-age buildings, gorgeous shops, and the remnants of the old Concession areas -Nanjing Road and the Bund. Day 10 Shanghai (B, L) You will visit the lovely old Yuyuan Garden, the Shanghai Museum, the Jade Buddha Temple, and the famous Oriental TV Tower. The second-highest platform provides wonderful views over Shanghai and the Huangpu River. Day 11 Shanghai Departure (B) You can arrange your time on your own until you are ready for being transferred to the airport for your departure. Hotel options (all located in downtown center, Beijing 3 nights, Xian 2 nights, Shanghai 2 nights; if the below ones fully booked, may change to other same standard.):
