(April 1-May 15, Luoyang Peony Fair, pay extra) Schedule: Day 1, Xian -> Luoyang (L) Private transfer with train tickets delivery in Xian to railway station in the early morning and take fast train G2002 (08:30-10:21). Upon arrival, local guide in Luoyang will meet you at the exit of railway station and transfer you to visit Longmen Grottoes, White Horse Temple and the Luoyang Museum. Stay overnight in Luoyang Grand Hotel. - Longmen Grottoes: contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907), entirely devoted to the Buddhist religion, represent the high point of Chinese stone carving. Day 2, Luoyang -> Xian (B, L) Today's program mainly focused on Shaolin temple and Kongfu show and we need a early getup. Temples and courtyard of Shaolin temple will draw your attention and filmings much, you will be totally engaged by very traditional Shaolin culture. After visit, drive back to railway station for fast train G2009 (17:45-19:08) return to Xian. -Shaolin Temple: located in Dengfeng County, Henan Province, famous for Shaolin wushu (martial arts), built in 495, the 19th year of the reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty.
