My sister and I enjoyed our trip to China. We found that our tour guides in the three cities varied greatly in quality. Our guide is Beijing was great, the one in Xi'an was OK and the one in Shanghai was pretty dull. We were also a little unimpressed because a few of the meals that were supposed to be included were not and a few places that we were supposed to see we weren't shown. Overall it was a good trip, but we wouldn't recommend our last tour guide and would ask for a more solid itinerary.
