Shanghai Tianci Service Apartment
Continued from my previous review, the apartment is quite big if you choose the 2 bedrooms with living room type. It comes with a kitchen but only have one toilet. There is a water dispenser so we do not have to buy bottled mineral water during our stay. Breakfast is provided by the cafe across the street and there are quite a number of cafes/restaurants around the area so meals are not a problem.

Good location, friendly staff and good service. But traffic below is bad, with cars horning and people shouting (selling street food) as early as 8-9 am! Can't sleep with the noise after 8-9 am... however, the good location should make up to this imperfection. The apartment is a bit old with some stains on the sofa, stiff bed, flat pillows and rusty taps but this is compensated by the cheap rate compared to other hotels around the area. Other than the above, the apartment is quite clean as house cleaning is done every day. Recommended if you are budget conscious and does not mind the noise and an old apartment.

Shanghai Tianci Service Apartment
We have stayed for 2 nights on 26/08/06. The hotel is in the good location not far from Henan metro station ( 10 minutes walk ) . For safety ,it's very safe because you have to use roomcard for using elevator. Even though the room is a little bit small but is clean. The staffs at the reception are all helpful because try to communicate with us in english. The unsatisfy of this hotel is no free drinking water in the room .

positive - Central located, - spacious, clean rooms, - daily room-service - friendly staff, - good value for money negative: breakfast is outside, on the oppisite side of the street
