I was timely received and kindly serviced during my visit to Huangshan mountains; I also effectively bought some train tickets through ChinaTour.Net So my conclusion is their service is completely worthy...
We had a wonderful time on the mountain even in spite of the heavy rain at times. Lots of walking. The mountain formations were very interesting. I commend our tour guide for trying to keep us all together. There were 8 of us originally. One stayed in the hotel. Two went up the gondola but were too sick to do the walking. The five left got separated and finally got back together for lunch. Our guide was very patient with us, but it was a hard job that day...
The one day tour of Huangshan was wonderful! We were picked up by our guide and driver right on time at the Crowne Plaza in Tunxi. She also texted the night before to ensure everything was scheduled as planned. Nicky was so nice and spoke excellent Engligh. We started the trip with a drive to the mountains (be sure to pack a rain coat...or you can buy cheap full body rain gear at the base of the mountain). It was a foggy day, but she was still game to show us all the peaks and we hiked what felt like 10, 000 stairs. The trails are very well maintained...but you should be in decent shape or be willing to take some rest breaks. The food was very good for lunch...a combination of western and eastern cuisine. After the mountain, we went to the Hot Springs. This was highlight of our trip. The setting is beautiful, it's well maintained and felt so nice after a morning of hiking. We thought it would be hard to kill 2 hours there, but were wanting more once we saw how awesome it was. To wrap up the evening, we went to the Tunxi Ancient Street. It's a nice stop and Nicky helped us to find what we were looking for, but there was no hard sell for tousist stuff...so that was perfect too. She and the driver took us to the airport and assisted with our check in. Overall is was a great day and an excellent value! highly recommended...
