My family was super excited to go and see the Great Wall. Due to illness we booked the tickets a little late and had to do it on our last day in China, however we booked and confirmed pickup details the following day with our guide.
We set our alarm for 5.30am so we could get up and get organised to go. the car turned up, after about 40min trying to get tickets on arrival we finally arrived at the wall... We caught the cable car up, ready to enjoy a leisurely walk to Tower 6 to catch the toboggan ride down. As we arrived at the wall at 3.30pm we received a message from the tour company explaining that the toboggan ride was closing at 5pm... They\'d also told us that we needed at least 30 minutes to line up for the ride.
