Excellent and very efficient tour to see both Great wall and Ming tumb. Guide was experienced and spoke very good English. We've got very good overview of the history of the Great wall and dynasties in China with small details...

We chose the private tour (there were 3 of us, my wife, 11 yo daughter and I) to visit Mutianyu. It was well worth the time and price-they treated us like VIPs and as stated in the title above this is a no-shopping tour. Our tour guide, Jessica, was very knowledgeable about China in general and specifically the Great Wall history. Our driver Ms Tang provided punctual service. She dropped us off and picked us up as expected. BTW, prior the the Great Wall tour, we went to the Forbidden City tour in the morning, as Jessica suggested. It was great timing since the temperature rose and had gotten hotter by the time we left. We highly recommend ChinaTour.net and will use their service again when we visit China in the future...

5 stars. My 18 year old daughter attend one day Great Wall tour. She is a vegan. The guide not only refund the lunch fee included, also stopped at a local grocery store to allow her and others to buy fruit and water with more econmic way. It’s beyond our expectation. Thanks. Will use your service again and highly recommended...

This is supposedly to be a NO-SHOPPING TOUR but the guide insisted that we go to the Jade shop .Wasted an hour there even thou we didn’t buy anything and were waiting for the guide outside the shop. Guide was rude and was sleeping in bus. Why did we need a guide if she is sleeping and no introduction to the places that we are going or places of interest that we passed by? Why are we paying more for a non shopping trip and ended up with a shopping one? And the lunch was bad..felt as if having vegetarian meal. No meat...

No shopping tour involved a visit to jade shop and a tea tasting. Both venues were a hard-sell. We did buy jade but that isn’t the point. I booked this tour explicitly because you advertised “no shopping”. Lunch was virtually inedible. The only good thing was that we visited correct section of walk. You Advertised guide would talk on the wall - no. Guide Anna, left us at the top of cable car. We heard another guide who was excellent giving all the information I thought we had booked for. Guide tobogganed down and we took cable car and had to wait a good 10 minutes for her to finally join us. She gave us no more information than I could have got off the internet. Total waste of money, didn’t deliver as promised and I would NEVER recommend this tour and particularly this guide...

There were 6 of us on this trip. We got picked up at our Hotel at the agreed time and the mini van was very comfortable. No shopping tour turned into a stop at the local Jade factory before going to the Wall, one of us bought a small necklace and it gave us an appreciation of the time spent on each piece. Some pieces taking 5 years to make. The meal at the restaurant before going up the wall was very nice. The wall was great, hard work climbing some of the stairs but worth the view. Took the Chair lift up and toboggan ride down which was a high light. Tour guide was very informative with her English easy to understand. We paid cash on the day option but not sure whether card option would be cheaper. Private tour for 6 cost $3100 Yuan...

I booked a personal tour with option A, meaning "Mutianyu Great Wall + Tiananmen Square + Forbidden City". As requested the tour started an hour earlier but instead of starting at great wall we went to Forbidden City, don't know the reason why? As this spot opens only at 09:00 but tour started at 07:00 we had to wait.... After a brief walkthrough we headed for great wall - no Tiananmen Square at all, don't know the reason why? Travel to great wall took 2.5 hours so the time on the wall was limited as well. Trip back took again 2.5 hours. Bottom line: tour duration 07:00 to 16:15 = 9 hours, pure visiting time 3 hours hence 6 hours of waiting and traffic jam. Guide and driver have been very freindly and did their best to accomodate me - that's the main reason for the 4 stars. If you want to see more better schedule more days than just one "all-inclusive" trip!..

Our tour guide was Edward, everything from pick, commute to the tour of great wall, lunch and return to the hotel was perfect. Really had a nice time, our tour guide Edward had extensive knowledge about the history of Great wall. The Chinese Lunch later on was very delicious. Edward was kind enough to give all of us a souvenir that represents Happiness. Overall the experience was really nice...

I spent a week in Beijing with my 15 year old son. We wanted to tour the Great Wall and decided that catching a bus and doing a tour with a large group just wasn't for us. We booked a tour with ChinaTour late in the day on-line and had a call to our mobile around 6:30pm from our guide for the next day to confirm the pick up time the next morning. I expected it would just be the guide, but it turned out to also be a driver for the car! We had the best day....the guide's English was good as we discussed all manner of topics which gave us an excellent insight into Chinese history, geography, politics and popular culture. By son commented that this was way better than anything he could have learned in a classroom back home in Australia. We visited both the Wall and the Ming Tombs. Can't speak highly enough of the professionalism of our guide. Highly recommended. Cheers Richard - Australia..

Our guide, Anna, was pleasant and informative. Anna was easy to communicate with. We were disappointed that we booked a no-shopping tour, yet were taken to a jade factory and a tea house...
