Tour guide and driver took us in a private sedan car to the Jade Factory as first stop. You are not obligated to buy them but interesting to know how to differentiate a real jade and not. Touch the pink jade dragon head for good luck.
We reached Badalin Wall and as per some reviews read before - it is the Great Wall of tourist!! It was packed since it was a Saturday, not sure if the same on weekday. It was windy and make sure you wear comfortable shoes to climb the wall.
Summer Palace - since we arrived Beijing at the same time as the Africans Summit is being held, some of the roads and entrance are closed to public. Nice walk on the longest corridor - different painting on each beam above you. Sit by the lake and watch the sun sets - beautiful sight!
