Arrive Beijing Airport(or Railway Station or Bus Terminal), meet and transfer to Hotel.
Your tour begins with the Tian'anmen Square, where the most important national ceremonies are held, surrounded by many historical buildings. From the square, you can walk to the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties with a history of about 600 years Inside this imperial palace. We will explore its fascinating halls, pavilions with golden roofs and high red walls. After we exit the Forbidden City, we will enter another attraction Temple of Heaven, where ancient emperors came to worship the heavens in hopes of good harvests.
Today we will hike the Badaling Great Wall, the most highlighted sight in Beijing. Please be prepared with your shoes since you will climb on the steps of the great wall, to reach the top of the great wall you can choose hike by foot or take the cable car (cable car ticket not included). You will never forget the view on the great wall, one of the seven wonders in the world. After lunch, we will visit Ming Tomb(Changling).
We will visit Hutong. Take a rickshaw to go through the narrow alleys. You may explore the narrow and curved alleys on foot, by pedicab or by bike. Take an afternoon flight to Xi'an. Arrive in Xi'an on the same day. Be met and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Sightseeing: The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Today, we will visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, which is the most important attraction in Xian. It is one of the greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb. There are three excavated pits exhibiting amazing Qin dynasty warrior and horses figures. After visiting the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, we have a tour to the Wild Goose Pagoda, where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India. Situated in the Da Ci'en Temple, about four kilometers from the urban center, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (also called the Da Ci'en Temple Pagoda) is one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China. Originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). As the symbol of the old-line Xi'an, it is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is rated as a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve as well as an AAAA Tourist Attraction.
Sightseeing: the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, the Ancient City Wall and the Bell Tower.
Being regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house for Chinese treasures”, Shaanxi History Museum is a miniature of Chinese long history and the splendid ancient cultures in the old times.
Ancient City Wall is one of the most beautiful landmarks in Xi'an. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
The Bell Tower stands at the center of the city with four main streets radiating from it in four directions linking the four gates in the city wall. It was built in 1384 and is 36 meters high. Originally a huge bell hanging beneath its roof served to give battle signals for the city's defense system. The tower has a 6-metre high archway on each side and a circular staircase leads to the top story.
Take an afternoon flight to Shanghai.
Visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha is treasured. And then go to the 400-year old Yu Garden, the typical private garden in China with nearly 500 years history. Then proceed to visit the Bund. The Bund stretches one mile along the bank of Huangpu River. The architecture along the Bund comprises such a wide array of Western styles, as well as Chinese styles, that it is renowned the world over as a "World Architectural Exhibition".
Sightseeing: Reed Flute Cave,Elephant Trunk Hill
Be transferred to the airport for the flight to Guilin. Have a tour to Reed Flute Cave, which is located in the northwest part of Guilin City,5 km away from the city center.It got its name because near the entrance of the cave, there are the reeds growing, which can be made into flute. After visiting the Reed Flute Cave, we will visit Elephant Trunk Hill. Situated on the west bank of the Li River, in the south-west of the city, Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of Guilin. It is called Elephant Trunk Hill because the shape of the hill looks like an elephant drinking water from the river with its long trunk. The Elephant Trunk Hill is 108 meters long and 100 meters wide, and the area of the hill body is 1.3 hectares.
Enjoy a relaxing day of cruising on the scenic Li River. Stroll on West Street in Yangshuo. Tonight you will stay in Yangshuo overnight.
No sightseeing today, and the Guilin driver and guide will transfer you from Yangshuo to the airport in Guilin, and then you will take you flight to Hongkong.
