Tour Itinerary

Day 1  Shanghai Arrival

Upon your arrival at Shanghai, we will meet you at the exit of the arrival hall holding a sign with your name on it. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2  Shanghai

Pick up from hotel in the morning and your tour bigins with Shanghai Museum, which possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art and help you to get to know Chinese history and culture. Then visit the classic garden- Yu Garden, which has a history of over 400 hundred years and an architectural style of the Ming dynasty. 

Have a la carte lunch at noon at our selected restaurant.

In the afternoon, have a walk around the famous bund area and Nanjing Road, and take a short cruise on the Huangpu River. Back to your hotel after the tour.

Day 3  Shanghai 

Visit Zhujiajiao Water Town, which is small town with a history of 1700 years, is a place to stay away from the crowdness of the city. In the town, there is an ancient street filled with representative ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, attracting great numbers of domestic and foreign tourists. 

Then back to downtown and visit Jade Buddha Temple and an old cultural street. Then proceed to Tianzifang, an artistic quarter restored transformed from old building group. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 4  Shanghai-Huangshan

Transfer to the train station for High-speed train to Huangshan. Upon your arrival, our local guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Huangshan city. After a short break, you will visit Hongcun Village. Built 800 years ago, the village was built in the shape of an ox. The residence of the village is the typical architectural style of Ancient Huizhou. These local-style dwellings are in picturesque disorder. Each house is built with black tiles and white walls. The layout of the residence is symmetrical of axis.

Day 5  Huangshan

Pick up in the morning and drive to Huangshan Mountain. Mt. Huangshan is definitely a must-visit place if you are a nature lover. Today you will be driven for around one hour so you can enjoy the beauty of the area around Huangshan Mountain. Then you will ascend the mountain by cable car and the stunning sceneries along the way will never let you down. Mt. Huangshan offers delightful views in all four seasons. On reaching the end of the ride, you will walk to enjoy the view of some famous spots, including the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Peach Blossom Valley, the Lion Peak and etc. The foot path is quite slippery on rainy days, so please make sure you wear a pair of sturdy shoes. With a height of 1,860 meters, the Bright Summit is the second highest peak of the mountain. It is so named because the land here is flat and wide with good sunlight. The views from the peaks of the top are amazing beyond expression and will leave you with an everlasting memory. You will lodge at the 4-star Beihai Hotel on the mountain this evening. Try to get a good sleep in preparation for further exploration tomorrow.

Day 6  Huangshan-Wuyishan

After breakfast, we will continue to explore the mountain. You will visit the Falling Rock from the Sky, and trek forward to the Bright Summit, then the Lion Peak. Hiking at the West Sea Grand Canyon (may be closed in winter). Then you will take the cable car down the mountain. Then you will be transferred to the train staion for you high-speed train to Wuyishan. Upon your arrival at Wuyishan, we will pick you up and transfer to hotel.

Day 7  Wuyishan

The Wuyi Mountains are a mountain range located at the prefecture Nanping, at the northern border of Fujian province with Jiangxi province, China. The mountains cover an area of 60 km2. In 1999, Mount Wuyi entered UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites, both natural and cultural. First you will visit Tianyou Peak by cable car, where you can enjoy the amazing landscape of Nine-bend Streams around the Mountain. You will take a bamboo raft to go along the river. After the rafting tour, you will explore the Song Street and Wuyi Palace.

Day 8  Wuyishan-Xiamen

Today, we will continue to visit Wuyi Mountain. First visit Dahongpao Scenic Spot, where you can see tea plantation of the famous Dahongpao tea. After that, you will explore the ancient village nearby.

After the tour, we will transfer you to the train station for high-speed train for Xiamen. Upon your arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel in Xiamen.

Day 9  Xiamen

Pick you up from your hotel and take a boat to Gulangyu Island (Kulangsu). There is a mixture of different architectural styles including Traditional Southern Fujian Style, Western Classical Revival Style and Veranda Colonial Style. The guide will show you the scenic spots on the island. 

Have lunch at our selected restaurant. After the lunch break, you will visit Hai Tian Tang Gou Mansion. The mansion is a complex of five villas in symmetrical styles laid out on both sides of the Middle Villa. There are bars and cafes, where you can enjoy local music-Nanyin and other performances. 

Then return to the downtown to visit the Island Ring Road and Zeng Cuo An Village.

Day 10  Xiamen

Today we will drive 3 hours to visit Hongkeng Tulou cluster. The large, technically sophisticated and dramatic earthen defensive buildings, built between the 13th and 20th centuries, in their highly sensitive setting in fertile mountain valleys, are an extraordinary reflection of a communal response to settlement which has persisted over time. You will visit the most typical ones, such as hencheng Tower, Kuiju Tower and Rusheng Tower.

Day 11  Xiamen

Pick up in the morning and drive to Jimei Study Village, founded by Mr. Tan Kah Kee in 1913, a renowned educator and leader of overseas Chinese.Then visit the South Putuo Temple and Hulishan Fortress.

After that, ww will transfer you to the airport for your dent destination.

Hotel + Breakfast
