Day 1 Shanghai Arrival
Upon your arrival at Shanghai, we will meet you at the exit of the arrival hall holding a sign with your name on it. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2 Shanghai
Pick up from hotel in the morning and your tour bigins with Shanghai Museum, which possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art and help you to get to know Chinese history and culture. Then visit the classic garden- Yu Garden, which has a history of over 400 hundred years and an architectural style of the Ming dynasty.
Have a la carte lunch at noon at our selected restaurant.
In the afternoon, have a walk around the famous bund area and Nanjing Road, and take a short cruise on the Huangpu River. Back to your hotel after the tour.
Day 3 Shanghai-Suzhou
In the morning, your guide will company you to take a high-speed train for Suzhou Station. Local guide from Suzhou will pick you up at the train station. Your first destination in Suzhou will be Humble Administrator's Garden, the most famous classical landscape garden in Suzhou. The art of the Humble Administrator’s Garden has a prominent position in the history of China’s garden creation. It represents the historical characteristics and achievements of south-east China’s private gardens. Then visit Suzhou Museum, where you can find a lot about Suzhou.
After that, we will walk around Pingjiang Road, where you can take a hand-rowing boat along the canal. Then visit the Garden of the Master of the Nets. The garden covers an area of 1.35 acre, and is compactly laid out, with halls, corridors and pavilions well positioned.
Day 4 Zhouzhuang
Zhouzhuang is one of the few places where you can experience the life of a typical Chinese water town. China Zhouzhuang is one of the most famous water townships in China. It is noted for its profound cultural background, well preserved ancient residential houses, and elegant water views. It has been called the "Venice of the East". You will visit the Twin Bridges, Shen House, Fu'an Bridge, Zhang House, Milou Tower and etc. Transfer to hotel in Suzhou.
Day 5 Suzhou-Hangzhou
This morning, our guide will see you off at Suzhou Railway Station.Yu will take a high-speed train to Hangzhou. When you arrive at Hangzhou, local guide will transfer you to your hotel. Then visit Meijiawu Tea Village to experience China tea culture. You will visit the tea plantation, pick tea leaves. learn to bake tea and finally taste the fragrant Dragon Well Tea. Have lunch at our selected hotel.
Then visit Lingyin Temple, which is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in the country. Then visit the West Lake. The famous West Lake is like a brilliant pearl embedded in the beautiful and fertile shores of the East China Sea near the mouth of the Hangzhou Bay.
Day 6 Hangzhou -Huangshan
Transfer to the train station for High-speed train to Huangshan.Upon your arrival, our local guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Huangshan city. After a short break, you will visit Hongcun Village. Built 800 years ago, the village was built in the shape of an ox. The residence of the village is the typical architectural style of Ancient Huizhou. These local-style dwellings are in picturesque disorder. Each house is built with black tiles and white walls. The layout of the residence is symmetrical of axis.
Then go back to the downtown and visit Tunxi Old Street. The history of the street dates back to five hundred years ago. The buildings on both sides of the street remains an architectural style of Ancient Huizhou. There are many time-honored stores along both sides of the street.
Day 7 Huangshan
Visit Huangshan Mountain.
After breakfast, you will check out the hotel since we will drive you to the No.1 Mountain under Heaven, the famous Huangshan Mountain (Yellow Mountain). You should not miss it during your natural scenery appreciation. We suggest you leave your heavy luggage at the concierge of the hotel in Huangshan city and prepare a backpack with necessary items to take with you on the mountain. Huangshan Mountain is noted for the unique pines, grotesque rocks, dreamlike cloud sea and gurgling hot springs. While taking the cable car to the mountain, you will find yourself among magnificent scenery.
Upon arrival at the terminal of the cable car, you still need to walk along the winding path and steps for a distance before getting to the hotel. Enjoy the view of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Peach Blossom Valley, the Lion Peak, the Flying-over Rock and the Bright Summit. You can also observe the pines and rocks at a short distance and take a deep breath of the fresh air along the way. Tonight you will stay at the best hotel on the mountain.
Day 8 Huangshan - Beijing
Watch the sunrise on the mountain top. And then visit Cloud-dispelling Pavilion and Xihai Grand Canyon. After lunch, you will take a cable car back to the foot of the mountain. Then you will be transferrd to the train station for high-speed train to Beijing. Opon your arrival at Beijing, you will be transfered to your hotel.
Day 9 Beijing
Your Beijing tour begins with Badaling Great Wall. When people think about China, the Great Wall is probably the first thing to pop out. It was listed as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO in 1987 and has become a national icon of China.Then visit the Scared Way and Ming Tomb.
Day 10 Beijing
Pick you up from hotel in the morning and start your tour with Tian’anmen Square. The square has witnessed several important events of China. Then proceed to the nearby Forbidden City, which remained the residence of the emperors for nearly five hundred years. The layout of the Forbidden City is based on a Chinese cosmic diagram of the universe that clearly defines the north-south and east-west axes. The buildings represent the largest and best-preserved examples of Chinese traditional architecture found today.
Have a larte lunch at a selected restaurant.
Then visit the Temple of Heaven, which was the place where ancient emperors came every winter solstice to worship heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest.
Day 11 Beijing Departure
We will pick you up at appointed time and tansfer you the Beijing Capital International Airport. That's the end of the tour.
