Tour Itinerary

Day 1  Shanghai Arrival

Upon your arrival at Shanghai, we will meet you at the exit of the arrival hall holding a sign with your name on it. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2  Shanghai

Pick up from hotel in the morning and your tour bigins with Shanghai Museum, which possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art and help you to get to know Chinese history and culture. Then visit the classic garden- Yu Garden, which has a history of over 400 hundred years and an architectural style of the Ming dynasty. 

Have a la carte lunch at noon at our selected restaurant.

In the afternoon, have a walk around the famous bund area and Nanjing Road, and take a short cruise on the Huangpu River. Back to your hotel after the tour.

Day 3  Shanghai-Beijing

We will pick you up from your hotel at appointed time and transfer you to Shanghai Hongqiao Train Station for your high-speed train to Beijing. Upon your arrival at Beijing, we will meet you at the exit and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 4  Beijing

Pick you up from hotel in the morning and start your tour with Tian’anmen Square. The square has witnessed several important events of China. Then proceed to the nearby Forbidden City, which remained the residence of the emperors for nearly five hundred years. The layout of the Forbidden City is based on a Chinese cosmic diagram of the universe that clearly defines the north-south and east-west axes. The buildings represent the largest and best-preserved examples of Chinese traditional architecture found today.

Have a larte lunch at a selected restaurant.

Then we will take you to visit Temple of Heaven, which was the place where ancient emperors came every winter solstice to worship heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest.

Day 5  Beijing

On this day, your tour begins with the magnificent Great Wall, you can choose to go to Mutianyu section or Badaling section. Needless to say, the Great Wall is a must-see attraction for whoever come to China. Now, it is time to see for yourself.

Have lunch at our selected restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will visit Sacred Way.

If time permits, we will stop by at the Olympic Stadiums –Bird’s Nest and Water Cube for a short exterior visit. Then proceed to Beijing Hutong. You will take a rickshaw to go through the old alleys.

Day 6  Beijing-Xian

Pick you up from hotel and visit the Summer Palace. It is a blend of natural scenery and artificial landscape. The mountains, waters and architecture together form picturesque scenes that are amazingly beautiful. UNESCO declared the Summer Palace “a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design”. 

Then you will visit Beijing Hutong and take a rickshaw to go through the old alleys.

After the tour, you will be transferred to Beijing West Train Station for your high-speed train to Xian. Upon your arrival at Xian, we will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 7  Xian

On this day, you will visit the world famous Terra-cotta Warriors, which was described as one of the eight wonders in the world and one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the twentieth centuries. It is said that each of the warriors was created with a prototype. 

Lunch is not arranged.

Then head to Shaanxi History Museum, where you can learn a lot about Chinese civilization and culture by having a close look at the historic treasures. Then visit the Great Mosque, a muslim mosque first built over 1200 years ago in Tang Dynasty. You can enjoy some snacks at Muslim Street.

Day 8  Xian-Guilin

On this day you will visit the ancient city wall, which was once one of the most impressive military defense systems in the world. Cycling is optional on the wall. Then drive to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Then you will visit a local family, and a home-cooked a larte lunch will be arranged.

After the tour, we will transfer you to the airport for your Guilin. Upon your arrival at Guilin, we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to hotel in Guilin.

Day 9  Guilin

On this day, you will enjoy a Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. 

The boarding time is scheduled at 9:30 am, and the whole journey takes about 4 hours. Embark and enjoy your Li River cruise to Yangshuo.

Li River is the highlight of Guilin tour, and whoever come to this city will be impressed by its natural beauty. The 54-kilometer waterway on the twisty Li River from Zhujiang to Yangshuo covers hundreds and thousands of grotesque peaks. The landscape is decorated with rolling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves, leisurely boats and is lined with bamboo. The water reflect the mountain and the sky, forming a picturesque scenery. Wonderful appreciation of a stirring “Movement of Mother Nature” ! 

A Chinese lunch box is offered on board by the cruise company.

Disembark at Yangshuo (Longtoushan pier) in the afternoon (1:30-2:00pm). Yangshuo, an ancient town with a history of over 1400 years, is the most beautiful town along the Li River. At the village of Gaotian to the south of Yangshuo, the fascinating pastoral scenery comes in sight. Yangshuo West Street is a place where you will find a lot of unique shops selling traditional handcrafts, hand-made scarfs, snacks of local flavor etc. 

After that, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin.

Day 10  Guilin-Hong Kong

First you will visit Reed Flute Cave, known as “the Palace of Natural Arts”, which holds a great number of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites in different shapes. 

Lunch is arranged by yourself. We will transfer you to Guilin West Train Station for your high-speed train to Hong Kong. 

Upon your arrival at Hong Kong, please find your own way to the hotel we have booked for you.

Day 11  Hong Kong

You can explore the city on your own. You can visit Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Stanley Market and etc.

Day 12  Departure from Hong Kong

Make your own way to the airport for your next destination.
