This was the first tour I took in China after working in Shanghai for a few months. I'm not too familiar with travelling around China so was somewhat anxious when I set out to fly to Xian. Those concerns were quickly put to rest when I arrived and met my tour guide at the airport. The entire trip was well orchestrated... everywhere we went I was expected. Since I was on the tour by myself, I felt somewhat pampered by all the personal attention.
The sites we saw were great. Xian is a beautiful city. While I visited during Spring Festival, it was not as cold as I expected it to be. I could imagine what the city and surrounding area looks like in late spring. Of course, learning about China's history was the best part of the trip. The tour guide spoke English very well, and was well qualified (he majored in Chinese culture at university in Xian). We had extra time at the end of the tour before my flight back, and he took me to a tea house. It was a fantastic end to a great tour.
I highly recommend this tour. I'm looking forward to going on more tours with ChinaTour.Net.
