I went on the two day tour as a private tour and it was great. For the price and the time time I had I saw all the big attractions and did it with a great guide and very comfortable car.
I would suggest that if you are not a great climber or a little unfit go to the cable car section of the great wall - the walk up the stairs was very intense.
Overall a great experience.
