We would have given a 5-star rating but for some time-stealing issues. First, the hotels were far away from each other to pick up all guests in a timely manner. Second, the driver was restricted by roadblocks from dropping us off at the sites, so we had a lot of extra walking. Third, there was a seemingly impromptu tea ceremony on Day 2 after we had already attended a tea ceremony on Day 1. It caused us to run behind to lunch, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the silk market. We were so fatigued that we could not stay and browse the silk market like we had wanted. Time issues aside, the sites in themselves are breathtaking and the guides' English and information are impressive.
