Tour Itinerary

Day 1  Chengdu Arrival

Upon your arrival at Chengdu, meet our driver at the arrival exit of the airport or train station. Then transfer to Celebrity Ruicheng Hotel, which is centrally located and convenient to stroll round the city. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Day 2  Chengdu (breakfast,lunch)

The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you can see the lovely Chinese pandas. The Center has been created and imitates the pandas’ natural habitat in order that they might have the best environment for rearing and breeding.
After spending time with the lovely giant pandas, drive to Leshan Giant Buddha. Leshan Giant Buddha is the largest stone sculpture of Buddha in the world, sits at the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu and Qingyi rivers. According to records, the carving of this giant Buddha was begun in the first year of the reign of the Tang Emperor Tang Xuanzong (713 AD), and completed in the 19th year of Emperor Dezong (803 AD). Looking dignified and solemn, the Buddha measures 71 meters in height. His shoulders are 28 meters across. The head is 14.7 metes long and 10 meters broad with total 1021 buns of hair on it.

Day 3  Chengdu-Chongqing (breakfast,lunch)

Today you will visit Jinli Pedestrian Street. Jinli is particularly famous for its traditional Sichuanese snacks. There is an area dedicated just to snacks, where you will see dozens of vendors preparing and displaying an impressive variety of noodles and finger food to snack on. Shadow puppet performance and other traditional Chinese arts also make an appearance, and this tends to be an excellent places to procure local gifts.
After lunch, drive to Chengdu East Train Station for bullet train G8713 15:00-16:26 to Chongqing(second class seat). Upon your arrival at the train station in Chongqing, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Chongqing Cruise pier. Board the luxurious five-star Victoria Cruises and start your journey on the Yangtze River.

Day 4  Shibaozhai (breakfast,lunch,dinner)

Enjoy your time on the cruise. Watch the scenery, join the activities on the cruise and have fun. 
In the afternoon, take a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, with its impressive wooden pagoda, appropriately named “the Pearl of the Yangtze”. The visiting time is about 2 hours.
Optional shore excursion: Fengdu Ghost City at 9:00 (extra CNY295 per person,2.5 hours)

Day 5  Goddess Stream (breakfast,lunch,dinner)

In the morning, sail through Qutang Gorge, the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic gorge.
Enjoy the scenery of Wu Gorge at noon. The character Wu in Wu Gorge means witch, which is named after the Wu County in Chongqing municipality and represents the mysterious scenery in this Gorge. In fact, Wu Gorge is considered as the most beautiful and elegant gorge among the three gorges. The most famous scenic spot in Wu gorge is the goddess peak, where on the peak, there is a goddess stone.
In the afternoon, take a boat to visit Goddess Stream (3 hours).

Day 6  Three Gorges Dam (breakfast)

At 8:15, take a boat to go through five-grade ship lock of the Three Gorges Dam. It is the largest of its kind in the world, capable of lifting ships of up to 3,000 tons. It is nearly the height of a 40-story building, with a water volume equivalent to 4 Olympic swimming pools. It takes only 40 minutes to travel a vertical distance of 113 meters (370 feet).

After the amazing experience of "water lift", shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site. Three Gorges Dam lies in the south bank, a town named San Dou Ping. This town is a core area for visitors' observing the Three Gorge Dams.
Back to the cruise, and then arrive at Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal. Check out and that's the end of the cruise. Then meet our driver and be transferred to the airport or train station for your next destination.
