I just returned from the 8 Days Tour (Beijing / Xi'an / Shanghai) and had a wonderful time. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable about their cities, the transporation worked fine, and the hotels were first class. The meals were plentiful and delicious.
We saw the major sites and had enough free time to absorb the atmosphere of each city. The people we met on the trains were very friendly and eager to speak English with us.
This was not an 'easy' trip but was a memorable excursion. I am very happy I went, and will certainly visit China again.
