Tour Itinerary

Day 1  Arrival Beijing by your own flight

Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The hotels in our package are located in the central Beijing-the famous Wangfujing Street. It would be very convenient to walk around, go shopping, have meals and etc.

Day 2  Beijing（B+L+D）

Your tour begins with Tiananmen Square, where the most important national ceremonies are held, surrounded by many historical buildings. From the square, you can walk to the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties with a history of about 600 years. Inside this imperial palace, we will explore its fascinating halls, pavilions with golden roofs and high red walls.

In the afternoon, you will marvel at the spectacular Temple of Heaven, where ancient emperors came to worship the heavens in hopes of good harvests. Enjoy the Kungfu show or acrobatic show or peking opera in the evening (normal seats at 2nd floor).

Day 3  Beijing（B）

The highlight of the day is the magnificent Great Wall (Badaling section), which is a must-see attraction for whoever come to China. Please be prepared with your shoes since you will climb on the steps of the great wall. To reach the top of the great wall you can choose to hike on foot or take a cable car (cable car ticket not included). Tourists whoever visit the Great Wall will be impressed by its spectacular view. Then you will visit Changling of Ming Tombs and Sacred road. On the way back,you will have a short exterior visit of the Olympic Stadiums-Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Day 4  Beijing → Xian（B）

After breakfast, you will visit Hutongs by rickshaw and Beijing Zoo (Panda house). Hutong has always been playing an important role in Beijing culture and daily life of local residents. Then you will see the lovely giant pandas in Beijing Zoo. Then drive to the Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden in China. Walk along the elegant promenade, see stone boat, visit Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill. After that, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Xian. Upon arriving in Xian, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 5  Xian（B+L）

You will visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, which is the greatest archaeological findings of the century. There are three excavated pits exhibiting amazing Qin dynasty warrior and horses figures. After lunch, you will cycle along the top of Xi'an ancient City Walls (1-2 hours), then visit Xian’s ancient Bell Tower,  the emblem of Xi'an city.

Day 6  Xian / Shanghai（B+L）

After breakfast, you will tour the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India. The Great Mosque, the local Muslim street and Folk Shadow play at Gao Family's house before being escorted to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.

Upon your arrival in Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 7  Shanghai（B+L）

After breakfast, you will visit Yu Garden, a famous garden in the south China. The symbol of Yuyuan Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion. Then go to jade Market and the Bund afterwards. Go through the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel and get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower, cruise on Huangpu River in Daytime (40-50 minutes).

Day 8  Shanghai → Suzhou → Shanghai（B+L）

After breakfast, you will visit named Venice of the East Suzhou, and you can visit Net Master Garden, the best and most celebrated as a model Ming Dynasty Garden in all of Suzhou. Then view the Ancient City Gate and Grand Canal and a tour of a silk spinning factory to see how Chinese silk has been produced since the 14the century.

After lunch visit the water town of Zhouzhuang and board a Chinese-style gondola to cruise the waterways of the city.

Then drive back to Shanghai for rest.

Day 9  Shanghai departure（B）

According to your departure time, our driver will meet you at the hotel on time, and transfer you to the Pudong or Hongqiao airport.
