Question: Flying into Beijing on the afternoon of 2017-10-27, would like to visit Huangshan and Shanghai and returning to Beijing to fly out on 2017-11-7 noon. ,Am interested in train travel , Would need hotels and travel between cities

Tour Itinerary

Day 1  Beijing Arrival

Our guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2  Beijing sightseeing (B,L)

In the afternoon, the guide will lead you to visit  Tiananmen Square , Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Bejing Hutong. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden in China. To get to know about local life, Beijing Hutong is a place you cannot miss.

Day 3  Beijing sightseeing (B,L)

After breakfast, we will drive to Badaling Great Wall, the most highlighted sight in Beijing. Please be prepared with your shoes since you will climb on the steps of the great wall. Just have a short hike there and enjoy yourselves. Then have a traditional Chinese cuisine at the foot of Wall and drive to Ming Tombs. After visiting Ming Tombs, drive back to downtown. On the way back we will have a exterior visit to the Olympic Stadiums- Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Day 4  Beijing → Huangshan (B)

Transfer you to train station for morning high speed train to Huanshan. upon arrival, transfer you to hotel and stay overnight there.

Day 5  Huangshan (B,L)

Drive from hotel to Huangshan scenic area for about 1 hour, and then take cable car uphill to the top of the mountain (10 minutes). Visit the Jade screen tower scenic area, the 'Greeting guest pine tree' (1500 years old), the 3rd summit 'Capital heaven' and the 1st summit 'Lotus peak', the 2nd summit 'Bright summit', Flying over rock, Cloud dispelling pavilion for famous natural rocks, and natural China ink painting Gallery-West sea valley (Grand Canyon), watch the Red cloud Peak with Great Sunset on the skyline. Stay overnight on the mountain.

Day 6  Huangshan (B,L)

Watch the sunrise in the early morning if weather permit. Visit the Begin to believe peak, Lion peak, take cable car downhill to the foot of Huangshan mountain. With close to eighty awe-inspiring peaks in excess of 1,000 meters tall, Huangshan is actually an entire range of mountains and valleys, sure to impress the dedicated outdoor tourist or those in search of China's best mountain resorts. Drive back to Tunxi(downtown).

Day 7  Hongcun Village (B,L)

Pay a visit to Hongcun Village, which is an ancient village over 800 years old and was listed as World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO, and the famous Oscar-award film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was made here. Then back to downtown of Huangshan City, tour to Ancient Street. Transfer to Huangshan Railway Station to Shanghai.

Day 8  Huangshan → Shanghai (B,L)

First visit Jade Buddha Temple, a famous Buddha Temple in Shanghai. Then drive to Yu Garden, built in 1559, was a private garden in Ming Dynasty. The symbol of Yuyuan Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion. Then, have a tour to Oriental Pearl TV Tower, a land mark of Shanghai and the highest TV Tower in Asia. You will have a bird's eye view of Shanghai. After that we will walk to Nanjing Road.

Day 9  Shanghai (B,L)

After breakfast, we will drive to Zhouzhuang, a beautiful water-town. The Double Bridge, Shide and Yong'an Bridge, was built during 1573 and 1619. Because they look like an ancient key, it also known as Key Bridge.

Day 11  Shanghai (B)

Free day by your own

Day 12  Shanghai -Beijing  by morning train (B)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the train station for morning high speed train to Beijing, arrived in Beijing at noon, transfer you to airport according to your departure time and say goodbye to China.

April 5th: (L) Beijing Arrival

Arrive in Beijing at 5:30am, our tour guide will meet you at the airport. Then take you to downtown, visit Summer Palace and Hutong. Check-in downtown hotel.

April 6th: (B, L) Beijing

After breakfast, we will drive to Badaling Great Wall, just have a short hike there and enjoy youselves. than have a traditional Chinese cuisine in the foot of Wall and drive to Ming Tombs. and after visiting Ming Tombs, drive back to downtown, on the way, we will have a visit outside the Olympic Stadiums(Bird's Nest) and National Swimming center(Water Cubic).

April 7th: (B, L) Beijing - Huangshan by flight

Morning, take a visit to Tiananmen Square, the biggest square in the world, then we began to visit the Forbidden City, the largest ancient imperial palaces group in the world with 500 years history. And the Temple of Heaven.

After the tour, we will transfer you to the airport to catch flight to Huangshan.

Arrive in Huangshan, our local tour guide will pick you up from the airport and send you to the hotel, free at leisure.

April 8th: (B, L) Huangshan

April 12th: (B, L) Shanghai

Today you will have a day trip to visit Water Town Zhouzhuang and then Suzhou, get back to Shanghai in the evening.

April 13th: (B) Shanghai Departure

Transfer you from hotel to the airport for your flight departure, see off.
