Very pleasant stay, only drawback was that there was a large contingent of government officials staying there, so on the 1st night the public facilities were not available for guests. Staff very friendly, especially the gentleman at the club room lifts...

Any time we visit Beijing, we use Capital Hotel as it is very near Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and within walking distance of Wangfuging. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and provides a good breakfast...

Excellent location, friendly staff. Safety box and coffe making facilities in room. Money change machine in lobby 24 hours, (quite usefull) free wi fi in all the hotel. Not luxurius but comfortable and clean. Not expensive at all for a five stars hotel. Highly recommendable...

The hotel is situated in a very good position, 15 mins to Tiananmen Square, 10 mins to subway, both by foot. The hotel facilities are very good, the rooms spacious and well serviced every day, our rooms carpet could do with cleaning, but apart from that, no complaints, all the staff we met were more than helpful, and had good English. The only thing I thought was not good was the price of breakfasts, tooooooo expensive, if was a buffet would have been a little better, but you had to choose what you wanted, I am English, my wife is Chinese, she would not let me pay these prices, that is probably why the restaurants were never busy, this tells you something, other hotels I have stayed in were always very busy and difficult to find a seat at breakfast. Would I stay here again, maybe not, but only because of the breakfast. If you compare the price I paid for my room, this shows how expensive...

The Capital Hotel is splendid located and counts on a friendly and well trained staff. Good prices for the comfortable and clean rooms. My only desappointment was that it charges 100 RMB/day for the use of internet in the room, a business practice I can hardly understand, since it would certainly be cheaper for them to give it for free (just as I have had some days before in Guangzhou and Shanghai) instead of maintaining good trained, English speaking personal to create passwords, account, give directions to the guests day and night around the clock. Even so, I strongly recommend this Hotel especially if you are a tourist. If you are a businessman/woman like me, you must know you are going to face extra-charges...

Hotel in good localisation ( close to Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City, subway). Big, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good price. I would like to recommend these hotel for stay in Beijing..

We have no complaints at all about this resonably priced hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, room comfortable and clean. Breakfast very good. The location is excellent, a pleasant and easy walk to Tianamen Sq, Forbidden City, Wangfuijing ST. The restaurant on the 20th floor offers the best views of Beijing by day and night its worth going up there even if you dont have a meal. We visited in January (the worst winter they had in 50 years) however the hotel was warm and a pleasure to enter after the freezing temp outside. One evening a shower did run cold but on the scale of things thats not a major issue. I would definately stay there again...

the statement of the promo is deceiving.. it says "stay 3 nights waive 1 nights" (it really says "1 nights")... while it means "stay for 3 nights and get one more night for free"... or "pay only for 3 nights and get the fourth night for free"... or better yet "stay for 4 nights and pay only for 3 nights" cos the room rate for this promo is more than the usual rate and you stay for 3 nights thinking that you'll only pay for 2 nights. chinese business strategy?..

Although the appearance of the hotel was great and the room appeared very clean and nice my stay was miserable- it appears the cleaning service cleans only the surface. The plumbing or should I say the drains were so filthy and dirty the stench was horrible and hit you as you entered the room! It was so unbearable I spent very little time in the room, and switching rooms was not an option because there weren't any rooms available, I must also mention this was a part of a tour/travel arrangement or deal and my friends and others on this tour also complained of the same. Other than that the location was great and the breakfast not so bad...it's not Dennys!..

When we checked in we were upgraded to a better room, which was a pleasent surprise. The Hotel was very nice and too my expectations as a five star, especially for such a reasonable price. The Hotel is ideally located in the center of Beijing near to many tourist attractions. We used room service after a long and tiring day and the food was good and delivered very promtly. The restuarants were relatively empty which we found a bit odd. Would definitely recommend this hotel...

Great hotel. we stayed for one week in August and with the heat and humidity of Bejing at that time, it was so nice to come back to the clean and air-conditioned hotel and room. the buffet breakfast was great and it was included in the price of the room. We had 2 small children with us and they ate everything for breakfast. The staff were really friendly and helpful. the bar and restaurants were really expensive, so we didn't eat or drink there. Superb location, just a few minutes walk to Tiannamnen square. Tours could be booked from a place at the square too. The staff got train tickets to Xian for us which was a great help and wrote down all the places we wanted to visit in Chinese so that we could get a taxi to any destination easily. Overall We have no complaints about the hotel and would definately recommend it to anybody going to Beijing...

Great location, service was 5 star could not do enough to help. Only down side buffet breakfast cold and fridge in room not cold enough. In saying that it was by far the best hotel we stayed at in china..

The location is the great advantage when staying in this hotel, such as the price (which will probably rise when the renovation is finished). Right now, many facilities and restaurants are closed due to the renovation. The breakfast is not really that good, at least not the "western" food, such as bread and breakfast cereals. My overall impression of this hotel is good...

We enjoyed the Beijing Capital Hotel very much. The total charge per night was somewhat more than we had been told on your website, but the hotel was also a bit nicer than we expected. Very nice rooms, and helpful staff. Overall, we were very pleased. The location was also excellent for seeing the sights in downtown Beijing. We would recommend this hotel to our friends who plan to visit Beijing...

One of the avantages for this hotel is that it is close to Tiananmen Square. The service is generally good, but I found two unfortunate issues, namely the lack of Internet access and the Museum like Gym. The bicycle could not be used and had been out of order for some time. But it looks fine in the brochure !..

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND PERSONAL ATTENTION. NOT EASY TO GET WIRELESS INTERNET. THE SERVICE OF INTERNET IS 90% MORE EXPENSIVE COMPARED WITH A HOTEL OF THE SAME CATEGORY IN HANGZHOU...

Ratio price/quality: too poor compared to other hotels in Beijing. Location ideal - price of room too high compared to the quality, but that's what you pay for the location, I guess. WLAN is a joke, played by the CMCC on all visitors to China, so forget about that unles you are staying long enough to want a subscription. The business center is ridiculously small and always overcrowded, go next door to Tien an men for an internet café. Food in the hotel overpriced and boring, hit the streets and eat much better at muck lower prices. Otherwise, kind people and smiling faces, but this is a major guest-machine, so if you want atmosphere and a taste of Beijing, look elsewhere...

As proposed, WLAN would be available! Which is not the case in the business rooms if you are NOT a CHINA MOBILE customer. Hotel is a bit old-fashioned. Construction in front of the hotel. VERY very poor and OLD fitness room with old-age material. Pool did not look "fresh" Breakfast is ok if you are not too picky! I moved to another hotel in Beijing after 3 nights as the internet which is part of my business was so POOR! Stayed the next 3 nights in another Hotel "Jianguo Garden" which is totally better and the service is more business related! I even received a discount! More English speaking and understanding people. Sorry for my poor Chinese. Beijing Capital is GOOD for non-business related people...

My family and I had a great time in this hotel. the hotel is experiencing some minor construction on the outside, but it is not affecting the inside. The Bowling alley was awesome as well as the restaurants that are located inside the hotel. The pool was okay but it needed some updating the lounge chairs were very old. the bathroom in the pool area was a little unkept. The staff was great. The rooms were big and comfortable, I would definetly room here on my next stay...
