My mom and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in a single room. As we were there only for sleep, it did not matter that the room was small. It was clean (except the stains on the carpeting). The in house restaurant had good food. We had no issue finding the place and when we were there, the hotel was completely full but we did not feel crowded. The hotel room was nice considering the price. It had all basic necessities (bed, desk, tv, air con) but nothing fancy.. It was difficult to find the first time, as the address on the webpage did not mention that it the hotel was within Beijing Middle Medical University. Other than that it was a good stay...
i stayed in the hotel last Aug 29 to sept 2, 2006. rm 525. one thing I appreciate in the hotel is its location. it is within the University. Being located inside the university, it helps me find people that are able to communicate in english. this make me more comfortable and secured in the place coz there are new friends that I can communicate with. Hotel structures and facilities are relatively old and poorly maintained, staff poorly communicates in english though female staff are more friendly and accomodating compared to its male counterpart. 2 of the 3 male staff i met at the counter are rude! I appreciate the management of the cafe at the lobby, they perform some of the hotel functions for the guest to become comfortable in the place. the manager are very accomodating, he communicate to his best to hotel guest every time. without him i may not enjoy the dinner during my first nite in the hotel, he even change my dollar to RMB, a service that the hotel shoud be doing. generally speaking,Hotel service are very poor. Thanks for its university location and the cafe at the lobby, It save me from spoiling my stay in China...
This is a very cheap and clean hotel. The rooms are with old furniture but the bed was ok. The staff was friendly but most of them don´t speak english. So it was not possible to become a phone call from germany to my room. Next time I visit Beijing I also stay in this hotel...
