Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to find any hotel employees who speak English. In addition they only carry Chinese TV stations. It sure would be nice to watch CNN, BBC or HBO. On the positive side, this hotel has a great location and the rooms are large and clean...
We booked and stayed here with our three small kids and were disappointed. Rooms were OK BUT... - no kitchen implements (no plates, cutlery, dishwashing stuff, pots/pans etc) - all units had washing machine but NONE were connected therefore not possible to do any laundry! - most units did NOT have broadband / local telephone connected (fee for broadband was RMB30 per day) - not very clean and looked much older than 2 years claimed on description - English communication was impossible - had to rely on lonley planet phrase guide We stayed 1st night then changed unit to one with telephone, then checked out next day and found a much better serviced appartment in the same neighbourhood.
