Had a connecting flight so stayed for one night because it is close to the airport. The airport transfer is great - use it! Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was small but clean and comfortable. Restaurant is right in the hotel so convenient with English menu and food was fine. It was a good choice near the airport...

Although this my first time in China and for business to attend the World Economic Forum But I really enjoyed the last day I spend in Beijing You have very welcoming and helpful staff at Beijing Olympic airport hotel We were in room 811, whish was clean and sound for short time residential Sorry we could not go to Great Wall of China, for the short time we had But the only problem we had is with the taxi we took us back to the hotel. I had a one night stay in Beijing between my flight from Baotou in Inner Mongolia to Hong Kong and then back to Brisbane. I chose the hotel because of convenience and of course the price was great. Loved my room and was well satisfied. I was so satisfied that I wrote an article about it in my Newspaper column and the link to that is: http://www.magic-city-news.com/R_P_BenDedek_33/Staying_-

Definately take the shuttle. I got a very grumpy taxi driver who couldnt find the hotel and tried to leave me in the middle of nowhere. When we eventually reached the hotel cheated me for the fare. The hotel was really cold, and very bare. I've got the impression that it was quickly made to cash in on the olympics and now is just running until it go's bust. The room I got was not at all the one I ordered. Apart from cold there was no internet connection. Even when I got moved to a warmer room There was no internet. Otherwise it was clean enough and the staff were friendly enough through their overcoats. And the room I got was actually cheaper than ther one I ordered...

Definitely use the free shuttle (to/from the airport) offered by the hotel as the hotel is quite hidden and taxi drivers will be upset that you are not going far from the airport. The hotel is designed for westerners (the bellboys will rush to help foreigners and then expect tips while the Chinese guests are left to care for themselves). Although classified as a 4 star hotel, it is just a converted apartment (definitely not 4 stars, someone has good connections to get that rating). Nevertheless, it is very convenient if you need to stay close to the airport and don't need to stay near the city center. It has all the necessary amenities and is quite a clean, well kept hotel...

Exept that the hotel was hard to find by airport taxi the stay was oke and the hospitality exelent. my only complain is about the hotel bus driver who was taking unaccapteble risc in traffic the morning i left to the international airport (2008-18-01) best regards Anthonius Kornelis Verberk..
