I stayed in room 1053, it had good facilities and was comfortable. The room give a good image of the hotel as 5 stars and everthing that I can find for the needs. The staff was helpful and speaking is not a problem to me as I am verse in Chinese. I was happy with the stay and there are shopping area and food area around the hotel for me. The metro was near to the hotel. A walk is needed and that should not be a problem and with the metro and taxi, it is accessibile to any other areas. I will recommend my friends who intend to have a short holiday in Beijing for this hotel if the price is still good and competitive...
MY WIFE AND I ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH AT THE HOTEL, EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. THE PEOPLE ALL WERE VERY PLEASENT AND WENT OUT OF THERE WAY TO HELP US IN ANY WAY. THE AMERICAN BREAKFEST WAS WONERFUL EGGS BEACON, SUASAGE&HAM & OMLETTES OF ANY KIND. PLEANTY OF FRUIT.CHEESE,CEREAL,AND A GREAT ASSORTMENT OF BAKE GOODS. OUR STAY WAS FOR TEN DAYS AT THE HOTEL.ENJOYED THE POOL,&SAUNA, STEAM ROOM ECT. HOTEL LIKE A 5 STAR, PLAN TO GO BACK AGAIN. CHRISTIAN HOTEL MANERGER WAS VERY NICE, AS WELL AS ISMAEL THE DOOR MAN, HE SPOKE FLUENT ENGLISH AND CHINISE,WAS HELPFUL IN TELLING CAB DRIVERS WERE WE WANTED TO GO. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. AS FOR TAXI THEY ARE VERY INEXPENSIVE.TO GET ABOUT. WE HIRED A DRVER YEABING FOR 60 RMB PER HOUR= ABOUT $8 US WILL WRITE YEABINGS PHONE # IN A LATER TIME. I stayed in room 1339, it had good facilities and was comfortable. The hotel staff were all eager to assist and were always attentive. The swimming pool had a pleasant ambience with background music and loungers, for relaxation after swimming. Surprisingly, there was no pool attendant on hand, so if an emergency had arisen, the consequences for a lone swimmer in difficulties could have been fatal. There are other rooms close by, for relaxation and massage if required. I would quite happy to stay at this hotel again...
