The luxurious 5-star Century Star began her maiden voyage on Sep, 12.2003. It has been proven to be one of the most popular ships on Yangtze River. With its grand two-story lobby to the beautiful ballroom, elegant restaurant and top furnishing, the ship boasts the same comforts and amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel.
The ship features Spacious, all outside cabins have private balconies. Each cabin is equipped with a phone and color television, mini-bar, and all bathroom are designed according to the western standard. The two beds in the standard cabin can be combined to be a King size bed. In addition, bathtub, hairdryer, telephone in bathroom are set in all Presidential Suites and Deluxe Standard Cabins.
Meals onboard will allow you a choice of Chinese or Western entrees. You can enjoy local cuisine, but also delicately grilled salmon and tender steak on the menu, the Chinese meals are served in traditional family style.
Get on board during 17:30 and 21:30 at Chaotianmen Port. At 21:30, the tour guide will give a briefing about cruise itinerary, safety and attentions. The cruise sets sail at 21:30.
Free coffee, tea and pastries are available in the morning. Tai Chi exercise between 6:30 and 7:00. Have buffet lunch at the restaurant on the second floor between 7:00 and 8:30. Between 8:30 and 11:00, you are free on your own or you can take an optional tour to Fengdu Ghost City. At noon, have buffet lunch at the Restaurant.
At 14:00, the ship will stop at Zhongxian Port. Shore excursion to Shibaozhai. Shibaozhai Tower was built against Yuyin Mountain. The whole tower is 56 meters high with 12 floors. It was built during Wanli Period and restored during Kangxi and Qianlong Period. There will be a Captain's welcome party between 18:00 and 19:00.
Have buffet dinner between 19:00 and 20:30. There will be Crew cabaret at 20:45.
Free coffee, tea and pastries are available in the morning. Tai Chi exercise between 6:30 and 7:00.
Have buffet breakfast between 7:00 and 8:30 at the restaurant. Optional tour to White Emperor City (7:45-10:30).
Enjoy the amazing scenery of Qutang Gorge on the deck at about 11 o'clock. Have buffet lunch at the restaurant during 12:00 and 13:00.
The ship will go through Wu Gorge at about 12:45. Between 13:30 and 17:30, we will take a boat to visit Shennv Stream or Shennong Stream.
Disembarkation briefing at 18:15. There will be a farewell banquet in the evening (19:00-20:30). Later you will settle the bills. Play mask ball or sing karaoke if you like in the evening(21:00-22:30).
The ship will go through double-line five-grade ship lock between 22:00 and 2:00. It is the biggest ship lock in the world. The ship will climb a height of a 40-story building. Quite an extraordinary experience.
Have breakfast in the morning(6:30-8:00). Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Site, which is the biggest water-control project. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xiling Gorge between at around 11:00. You will check out at 11:30. The ship will stop at Peach Village port in Yichang at 13:00. That's the end of the tour.

Aboard the cruise: You should arrive at Chongqing before 21:00PM to aboard the cruise on the first day. If you need airport transfer from/to the dock, please choose optional service below in the price list.
Get aboard from Taohuawu Port at Yichang from 17:30 to 21:30. Then there will be embarkation briefing about itinerary and safety instructions and etc.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xiling Gorge. Xiling Gorge starts from Xiangxi River of Zigui County in the west and stretches to Nanjinguan in the east. It is 76 kilometers and the longest gorge of the Three Gorges Dam.
Optional tour to Three Gorges Tribe or Bamboo Sea between 9:00 and 11:30.
Have buffet lunch at noon(12:00-13:30).
In the afternoon(13:30-16:00), shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam. It is the largest dam in the world and the biggest water-control project. There will be cultural activities between 16:00 and 17:00.
At around 17:15, the ship will go through the double-line five-grade ship lock. It is the biggest ship lock in the world. The ship will climb a height of a 40-story building.
There will be a Captain's welcome party between 18:15 and 19:00.
Have buffet dinner between 19:00 and 20:30. There will be Crew cabaret at 20:45.

During 8:30 to 13:00, you will take a boat and visit Lesser Three Gorges or Shennv Stream.
Have buffet lunch at the restaurant during 13:00 and 14:30.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Qutang Gorge during 15:00 and 15:30.
Free at leisure during 15:30 and 18:00. You can take an optional tour to White Emperor City.
Have buffet dinner at the restaurant on the second floor between 19:00 and 20:30. Night entertainment at 20:45.
Free coffee, tea and pastries are available in the morning. Tai Chi exercise between 6:30 and 7:00. Have buffet breakfast at the restaurant between 7:00 and 8:30.
Shore excursion to Shibaozhai between 9:00 to 12:00.
Attend activities between 15:00 and 17:00. There will be a disembarkation briefing around 18:00. Attend Captain's farewell banquet between 19:00 and 20:30. Later, you will settle the bills. And you can also enjoy your time to watch movies or sing Karaoke.
Have buffet breakfast in the morning. Then check out and we will arrive at Chongqing around 8:00.

the boat travel that we made was very good. We really enjoyed the journey on the yangtze river. The Century star is a beautiful ship with nice cabins. The staff was also very good and we recommed this ship to everyone who wants to make a trip on the river. 2006-08-10 more..
