It started picking up people from their hotel. Although this is a good service I would suggest just have a one meeting place to avoid wasting time just picking up people. Next we went to a place where they explain how terracotta army was made this can easily been skipped because the tour guide from the terracotta museum said the same thing. And although they said no shopping this is definitely a shopping stop. the factory itself had a shop or souvenirs I recommend just buy your souvenirs from the muslim quarters. Then finally to the terracotta museum which we had to pay 20 rmb for the hearing aide because the guide, bless her need to speak I get that so she does not need to shout but this an unforseen expense. After seeing Pit 1 and 3 they told us to have rest in a Cafe that sells tea and again souvenirs shops. Then Pit 3 then seeing the museum for the old farmer who discovered the pit. After 2pm that's when we had lunch. Got back to the hotel around 430. Though it was in the itinerary this whole ile experience will be done in under 2 hours. Having a tour guide explaining every pit and follow the umbrella is not really what I enjoy. I rather have what we experience in Beijing that explore the place yourself then meet up in a specific time and place. I wish I just had done going it myself really.
