when imarrived at the hotel i was told that my room is still occupied. They offered me to wait for about three hours!!! This is after 15 hour (total with transfers) flight. This was terrible. Though the staff is nice. Buffet breakfast is mostly for Chinese. For Europeans there is nothing more than eggs and bacon...
We were very disappointed by the way we were received and the appartment we had asked for even does not exist! The Hotel does not have a nice view and of the four rooms that were shown one did even not have daylight! There is no western breakfast! Only if you were looking for a very cheap hotel you could book this...
Decent enough hotel for the price. The personnel does not speak English, so if you need help for more than just staying for the time you booked, you need to act and draw a lot... Very cheap restaurant with basic noodles and rise dishes downstairs, as well as a lobby bar. Very nice location close to the river, and a VERY VERY good Italian restaurant around the corner just 100 meters towards the river...

2nd floor window view disappointed, smelly & rubbish view whenever window open.Beware step in foot massage in hotel Lobby. Agreed price RMB58,ended up paid RMB158 + demand tips RMB20.Nothing happen just well dressed extra hand,head & behind a bit unaware price ,ended nighmare for tourist always cut throat.A bit frustrated with air-con not really cool...
Decent enough hotel for the price although we were slightly disappointed with the room, particularly as we had stayed in similar priced and cheaper hotels in other Chinese cities where the standards had beeen higher. Room had air conditioning but there is no mini bar or kettle. Hot water is supplied but you will have a hard job getting your flask refillled. Housekeeping don't tend to answer the phone and I had a hard job tracking them down when they forgot to leave toilet roll in the bathroom. Aside from that the room is sufficient if you don't intend to spend too much time in it. Location, however is great - only a few minutes walk to The bund. Nanjing Road is also within easy walking distance (less than 10 minutes ) as is the Yu Gardens...
