Good location with walking distance to the bund.This hotel is old but rooms are newly renovated. Comparing with other hotels I think it's overprized, especially because you have to ask for service even sometimes twice before getting what you want. We didn't get the room we booked and even more expensive then offered. You can have the same view but less expensive in Panorama closed by Broadway Mansions...
Good location with walking distance to the bund. If you are interested in Shopping Street on Nanjing Road, a trip on taxi will cost you only $11 CNY. This hotel is old but rooms are newly renovated. Above average service from staff. The only negative I would comment is that if you book the room over the internet for a friday till Sunday, you are paying the weekdays rate through out. The online booking system does not allow you to split the weekdays rate and the weekend rate, which is cheaper...
