I visited Shanghai for the first time with a girlfriend. We were there primarily for shopping. As such, this hotel was located a few hundred feet off of the pedestrian mall on Nanjing Road. The location is excellent in that regard. The hotel is a 3 star Chinese run place. It was clean and made a good impression. The bathroom is rather small with a shower stall to match. It was so small that it made taking a shower a little challenging, but we made due. The deal killer was the bed, though. It was as hard as a rock and my friend said she felt like she had bruises in the morning. I would have stayed, but my friend preferred something more comfy so we moved to the Ramada Plaza, a few hundred feet away (for double the money). The buffet was OK too. All in all, it represents a fair value for the money.
