Pick you up from your hotel in downtown Shanghai in the morning and go shopping for raw matrial in the wet market. Then visit a local family, learn to cook three Chinese dishes and have the dishes as lunch. Transfer back to the hotel after the tour.

There are three catagories: main dish, vegetable and dim sum. Each catagory has 3 options. You can only choose one course from each catagory. Overall, you can choose one main dish, one vegetable dish and one dim sum.

The sweetness is from sugar and the ketchup and vinegar makes its yummy sour taste. The pork pieces are fried crispy. Kung-Pau Chicken is spicy chicken with peanuts. The chicken tastes tender and smooth. It is perhaps the most popular Chinese dish among the foreigners. The flavor of Fish-flavored Pork is created by chili sauce, salt, soy sauce, white sugar, green onions, ginger, and garlic together. This dish has a complex but delicious taste that is salty, sweet, sour, spicy, and fresh (not particularly fishy).
