Hello, First of all we want to say that Shanghai was beautiful city. The Shaghai Xing Yu Hotel that we have stayed was nice and clean and the hotel location was very convenient right at the city center, just 5 minutes walk to the bund area, only few minutes walk to Nanjing road. We have sayed at the hotel as we have planned for 4 days, the hotel was nice, clean with good service, breakfast was good enough. We stood 5 days in the Xing Yu Hotel. When we arrived we were a little bit surprised, because the hotel is located at the 8 th floor of a big wholesale market and we did not know that the taxi driver has transported us to the right place. We did not want to get out. We had booked a standard room . In the winter the aircondition does not work and we had a room to the inner court of the hotel with the view to the breakfast room.It was very hot and no fresh air inside. Because of that we have changed the room to a room with a outside window. If you book the room or if you check in at the reception it is necessary to tell the staff that you want to have a outside window. The rooms were big an everything was ok. It is possible to go by bus to the Nanjing road and to the subway station there . The walk to the bund is only 5 minutes and to Nanjing Road 15 - 20 minutes. The stuff was very helpful...
