The tour was very easy to book and was quite reasonable. Our tour guide Serena, called the night before and told me when they would be picking me up. She was very good and told us a lot of history and kept us informed about what we were seeing. Tour was 5 people and all spoke English well. We saw Tienanmen Square as we were approaching the Forbidden City. Serena gave us an overview of what surround Tienanmen Square. We walked all through the Forbidden City with Serena explaining things well. She then took us to the China National Academy of Chinese Medicine for foot massage and a Chinese doctor review. He looked at our palms and took our pulse and told us what was wrong with us and prescribed certain herbal medicines. You didn't have to buy. They were quite expensive, like over $100 USD for a month supply. If you wanted the foot massage you needed to tip $20 CNY. It was educational. We then went to lunch at a place that she said they hadn't used before. It was ok, but not great. We then went to the Temple of Heaven. Serena dealt with getting all the tickets all the way along and they are included. After the Temple of Heaven, we headed to the Summer Palace, but we had to stop at a pearl shop. Again, you didn't have to buy anything. The Summer Palace was very interesting and scenic. The only thing we did that wasn't included in the price was walk around the lake and then paid $15 CNY to take a boat back to the entrance. It was just something we all agreed to do. I would highly recommend using this tour company and taking the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace tour. If you tried to see it your self, it would have cost a lot more. I'm planning to take the Great Wall / Ming Tour tomorrow.
