Our tour guide Jack made the tour a memorable event with knowledge each place. Especially the historical details explained before the visit to each venue added to our appreciation of different features. Highly recommended. KG Tulsi..

A big "hooray" for our tour guide DAVID JIANG who not only made our 2 day tour fun but was able to engage us with so much information in all places we visited. I work in China and invited my family to visit Beijing. We took this tour along with the Greatwall/Mingtomb/Olympics on October 14-15. From the time our tour guide picked us up at 8am, we were in good hands. David's way of "presenting us China" entertained all of us. We also appreciate that he accommodated our requests as we are traveling with our mom who needs a "break" now and then. I have been in several tours (even one from this company last year) and although most guides are good in telling us about a certain place, David's energy and the manner he speaks English is commendable. The whole tour was enjoyable. We do not have any complain at all. All six of us have only good things to say on this trip. Thanks David!..

We have 3 people booked 2 tour on 25/3/2016 1 Day Tour (Great Wall and Ming Tomb) and on 26/3/2016 1 Day Tour (Forbiddeen City, Temple of heaven and Summer Place). However, tour guide did not pick-up us on 25/3, not explain what happen as well as not say "sorry"! We waited from 7:30am till 10:00am but not thing. Finally we decided to go to Great Wall ourselves. On 26/3 tour guide picked-up us form our hotel to visit Forbiddeen City, Temple of heaven and Summer Place. It's OK for program. Tour guide good be havour and positive, however, he spoke English rather poor. We must focus to listen him what he said. The driver was not careful and camp in driving, sometimes too fastly seem hit other cars on the road. We feel that unsafety when we sat this van...

Booking was quite easy. Our guide Kathy called our Hotel on the 5th evening and informed us to be ready by sharp 8AM on 6th April 2014. Our group consisted of 4Pax .Totally we were 8 Pax in the Van .Though 4 others were from other countries but they were all originally from India. Forbidden City was the first place we visited in the morning followed by a free foot massage.Though it was free there was a catch to it.It was basically a Chinese natural medicine clinic ,and while during the massage a Chinese Doctor Examines you and prescribes some medicine which you need not buy. Our Next stop was Temple of Heaven and it was a very nice place.Unfortunately the week end coincided with 3 days Chinese Holiday and every where there were huge crowds. We were taken for lunch in a Restaurant next to Temple of Heaven and the food was excellent. After a visit to a silk factory our next stop was Summer Palace.Again a very scenic beauty .We were then dropped to a theater to watch An Acrobatic Show though it was not included in the tour but to and fro transport was provided as a special case and thanks for the same. Kathy was very helpful. China tour City tour is conducted very professionally and I would recommend any day. Please do not look to save a few bucks...

This is Angela from Philippines-- me & my friends visited Beijing last March 15-19, 2012. We actually booked 2 tours with ChinaTour.Net.. The first we did was the 1 Day tour: Forbidden city, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.. We were quite satisfied with the tour as our guide Jimmy was very informative. He knows his job well plus he became our official photographer as well!! I would recommend his tour service any time of the day....

I recently did the 1 Day tour of Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace on Sat 17th Sept 2010. Our tour guide was exceptional and our bus driver was quite skillful. The pace of the day was quite quick but the guide was very organized and made it all seem to flow quite well. e was very knowledgeable and told little stories en route to enhance the experience, was quite funny and entertaining. Had a great experience and a was a fun & relaxing day despite the busy schedule! I had spent a while in Beijing and had seen the square and a few bits while out & about. But it was great to relax with a tour and be ushered around, and the little anecdotes really added to the experience. The meal was quite good. It was totally amazing & I would strongly recommend it...

We booked this tour for our second tour in Beijing, and the tour guide was very accommodating as we had to catch an early flight. Instead of going back to our hotel, we took our suitcase on the bus and he hailed a cab for us to go to the airport, after we had seen EVERYTHING! The day was full-on and we saw the Forbidden City last - which was then rather tiring. The experience of visiting these places will be with us forever. Lunch was great at the Temple of Heaven. Guide spoken good english and the shopping components were okay, but not interested in the Chinese medicine visit. I would highly recommend the tour company - it was easy to book and confirmations fast. Many thanks for a memorable trip. It made it possible to see so many things in our very short visit to Beijing...

We recently visited Beijing and used ChinaTour.net for three separate day tours. Day 1 we visited Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace . Laura (Lili?) was our personal tour guide and despite the rushed atmosphere caused to having to see so many sites in one day, she was very informative, exceptionally helpful, and a delight to be with all day. I highly recommend personal tour guides. The next day we visited the Lama Temple, the Panda Zoo and the Hutong. This was a small group tour and turned out to be a lot of fun. The Hutongs we visited were being renovated so there was a lot of construction debris. I think its great that these areas have been declared protected and are being redone. Lunch was great, in one of the Hutong houses. The Lama Temple was gorgeous and the pandas were sleepy and cute. The tour guide was incredible and I am sorry I forgot her name. I would like to give her personal credit for making this day a great memory. Our last tour was also a personal tour. We went to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. We chose the Badaling site since it has the cable cars to take you to the top. I was a little disappointed in that we went to the Great Wall at the last or our tour. The sun was in our faces so any pictures I took turned out rather poor. It would have been better to go to the Wall first but it was incredible to see! During all three trips, side excursions to silk factory stores, cloissone factory stores and other preferred shops took up some of our day but there were no hard sells. Probably what was the most fun was going to the Silk Factory and Pearl Market store. This is 5 stories of shopping heaven. Resist the temptation of buying at the stores visited on the tours if you can. You can find everything you want here if you are willing to bargain. My advice? Start really really low. If we return to China, we will definately use this service again...

Quality and service of ChinaTour.net are out of any discussion only one word = SUPERB. However the quality of the guide, although very friendly, was of a so/so level...

Excellent explanation and wonderful guide. Because it was a private tour, we could adjust the timings a little and change schedules based on recommendations from the guide , taking into consideration traffic and crowd conditions...

Our private tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic day and would not have been able to cover all sites in one day ourselves...

You took us runing trought forvideen city (45 minutes) and then we waste 60 minutes in a very bas food masaje of 20 euros and having to leasing a doctor try in to we’ll us different things, then luna and otherwise 45 minutes in a peral shop. Then 30 minutes in temple of heaven and other 30 minutes un sumer palace. So we waste one day only runing without a litle time to stop, we even didn’t entre in the main buildings of forbidden city. I’ll never recomend your company...

The trip was well organised but the tour guide spoke English that was a bit hard to understand. There was too much rush and we had a feeling that we missed some interesting parts...
