Private transfer to railway station from your hotel in Xian around 7:00am to take fast train G1548 (7:20-8:53).
Upon arrival, local guide in Luoyang will meet you at the exit of railway station and transfer you to visit Longmen Grottoes, and after lunch drive to Shaolin Temple.
After visit, drive back to railway station for fast train G663 (19:59-21:25) return to Xian.

-Shaolin Temple: located in Dengfeng County, Henan Province, famous for Shaolin wushu (martial arts), built in 495, the 19th year of the reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty

Excellent guide and a great day out, well worth the journey from London , UK. We had never heard of the Longmen Grotto and were really surprised at the impressive construction. The Shaolin temple was as also superb, shame it rained all day. We travelled by train from Xian in business class, fantastic trains. more..
