We thoroughly enjoyed this tour in Oct 2010 and would recommend it to those who want to explore this part of China. This is our 2nd tour with Chinatour.net and the experiences on both were positive. They were both very pleasant, trouble free & memorable. Everything from hotel accommodation to the personal services of our tour guides & drivers either met or exceeded our expectations.
The driver and guides were very good. They knew the history and the locations of the places of interest and were very generous with their expertise.
The accommodation selected, the motor vehicle and the restaurants were of good quality.
The only thing we would suggest is that the guide go over the menu choices with the guests. The guides provided menus that were typical of the areas we visited. The majority of the food was excellent and we enjoyed it.
I was, like any other would-be visitors to China, a tad worried when I booked on-line and made payments to someone I have not dealt with. Potential visitors please rest assured, they are a great bunch to deal with. They care for your enjoyment, would go out of their way to make sure you have a great time.
We have been back to Australia and busy at work for almost 2 weeks. Thanks to your organisation and the service of the relevant people at Chinatour, we had a great time in China.
Could you also pass on our thanks to those who have made our visit enjoyable. Of course we have already showed our appreciation to them when we said goodbye.
