We went on our tour on Nov 4, 2017 with Sophia as our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and we had a great experience. Couple of areas of improvement: The tour involves stopping at couple of shopping factories - jade and clay/wood factory where they make terra cotta warriors. Did not enjoy this. We would pay extra to skip these "shopping" stops next time. Waste of time. Better to spend time at actual sites. The stops at the actual sites were a bit rushed. Would have been nice to spend more "free" time to explore. We did not get contacted the night before (as advertised when booking) as to what time the tour guide would stop over at our hotel to pick us up. When we tried to call (before 11pm) no one answered. So we had to wake up early and wait. Would have been nice to get message night before as to when we would be picked up. Otherwise, the tour of the sites was quite nice. The driver drives quite "fast"! We survived!!..

We ahd a great time. Nana was an EXCELLENT guide. Very knowledgeable not only about the Terracotta, but also about Xi'an and China's history. The tour is a must and I hope you are lucky enough to have Nana as your guide...

What is GOOD: - Our tourist guide, Iris, is very knowledgable of the history and facts. She speaks very good and clear English. She is also very friendly, funny and nice. She makes the whole trip feel very enjoyable. What is NOT GOOD: - Internal misalignment in the Tour Company. I booked for Terra-cotta Warriors and City Wall, but what I got is Terra-cotta Warriors and Banpo Museum tour (which is boring). The tour guide looked confused when I asked that we should go to the City Wall and she insisted that we should go to Banpo Museum - which I did not book. I felt like wasting our valuable time (including other tour member) to go to Banpo Museum that I did not want in the first place...

Dear Nancy, Please give this message to your boss or the owner of the company. Fir-_br_st thank you for a great guided tour. Jenni Li in Xian is/was the best. My daughter and I learned so much about China's history and stories and culture that we are presently writing them down so we don't forget. The bus driver and Jenni did evereything to make our trip great. I cannot thank you enoughand I want you to know that I will be telli..

Was very happy with our tour to the Terracotta Warriors & City Wall. Had an excellent english speaking guide who was very good with our (sometimes not-so-interested) children! Highly recommended. Lee-Anne Australia..

Had a private car tour. Guides name was BRUCE who was very informative and helpful. He didn't rush us on either the wall or the terra-cotta warriors, which was nice as we had felt rushed and under pressure on previous tours, not actually seeing things in as much depth as we would have liked. He even found time to take us to the Goose Pagoda on the return to our hotel. The only downside as with all the other tours was a factory visit, which we did not request or require , but sadly was an element in every tour we took. Tourists should be told of these visits and given the option to visit or not, thus leaving more time at sights of interest...

We booked this tour with a personal guide to get some more detail information about the Terra-cotta warriors. At the day when we booked this tour there were no other people for this tour, so we got a private car with just 2 persons. On the way our guide was telling a little bit about the history of the warriors. He also told us that he already go to this museum so many times that he already gets sick of it, maybe not the nicest welcome to start off the day. This mood we also could feel the whole day, because when we were in the museum and wanted to look all the different places he was always quickly finished and sometimes waiting outside. For the rest the tour was well organized and it was very interesting to see. It depends which tour guide will be join this tour, but we made the experience that the female are the better tour guides (in China)...

The actual tour destination was fine. However the guide seemed to be just a little inexperienced. We got the bonus of being the only ones booked that day, so we got a private car instead of a bus tour. There was some pressure to visit places that we did not want to go to. And then there was the dilemma when one of us got ill and had to return to the hotel before starting the wall tour, leaving one of us with the tour guide and feeling pressured to go a Feng Shui place...
