We booked a private tour of the Great Walland the Ming Tombs. Our tour guide David wanted to pick us up at 7:30. We wanted to be picked up at 9 AM. We needed to be quite forceful in order to have him pick us up at the time we had previously requested. David spoke good English and knew his Ming Dynasty history and the Great Wall.
