My son and I booked tours for the 11th November 2013 to the Great Wall at Badaling, the Ming Tombs and on the 12-11-2013 for me to the Forbidden City, The Temple of Heaven and The Summer Palace. On the 11th, the guide was punctual and seemed very knowledgeable and he advised that the cable cars to the Great Wall were not working so we would spend less time at the Great Wall. The weather was very good and we saw the two sights.
The next day the guide arrived late at the hotel and during the day while other tourists were speaking about places in Beijing they visited, they described their fun trip in the cable car ride at the Great Wall and the tour guide informed me that the cable cars were never out of service.
